Application for Grants
We will accept proposals any time of the year. Applications will be reviewed once they are received.

The application to EFG Hermes Foundation involves a two-step process:

The first step involves the submittal, by the applying organization, of a brief proposal. The proposal should be no longer than three pages, and contain the following information:

  • The mission and objectives of the organization.
  • The social issue(s) identified and the theory for social change. Explain how your organization will improve on existing efforts and how your approach is unique.
  • An explanation as to how your organization will reach national or regional scale.
  • A short description of the design and implementation plan for the organization's project during the first three years of its implementation.
  • A brief background (please attach a brief resume of project proponents).
  • Please put the name of your organization in the subject line of the email (if you are submitting by email).

Once we have reviewed your proposal, we will invite qualified applicants to submit a more formal plan. An in-depth review of the plan will be undertaken during this second step.
