Project “RO’YA” provides a holistic approach to Poverty Alleviation by improving the quality of life of underprivileged families living in environmentally and hygienically unsafe houses in the village of Ezbet Yacoub, Beni Sweif Governorate. The project involves building new houses for the residents of the village, equipping these houses with suitable basic infrastructure services, building a waste water treatment plant, providing a steady source of income for the families (animal husbandry, microfinance, vocational training), and the construction of a community services facility to include (bakery, clinic, dairy lab, training and employment center, facility for children with special needs).
